LDAPtIT translates MAILsweeper and WEBsweeper LDAP queries to a form suitable for use by the LDAP server. It translates LDAP server responses to a form suitable for use by MAILsweeper and WEBsweeper.

 

LDAPtIT has a flexible translation language that allows the definition of the mapping between each query and response. It has common mappings predefined ready for use.

 

LDAPtIT is a secure LDAP proxy supporting multi port operation, port mapping and IP address dedication. It is installed on the MAILsweeper or WEBsweeper system.

 

LDAPtIT's logging can record the full detail of the LDAP conversation between client and server.

 

How LDAPtIT is licensed

 

LDAPtIT is licensed for a specific client and server combination. One license is required to connect MAILsweeper to a specific server type; another license is required to connect WEBsweeper to a specific server type.

 

LDAPtIT is licensed on a per user basis. The number of users licensed for LDAPtIT must be the same as the number licensed for MAILsweeper or WEBsweeper.
